Here are the highlights of my family history and genealogy related activities over the past week.
1) Transcribed the three page 1876 Will of Jane R. Sever (1802-1876) of Kingston, Massachusetts for the Amanuensis Monday series.
2) Wrote a genealogical sketch for #750 7th great-grandfather Ephraim Smith (1675-1722) of Portsmouth and North Kingstown, Rhode Island for the 52 Ancestors series. This is my 473rd ancestor sketch.
3) Found additional ancestral families for my grandsons' Italian heritage in the GeneaNet trees contributed by one of their cousins, and added them to my family tree.
4) AncestryDNA now has 42,731 DNA matches (up 65 from 19 March) for me today, with no new ThruLines. I added no Notes to my new matches. MyHeritageDNA now has 11,226 DNA matches (up 31 from 19 March) for me, with no new Theories. Reviewed the new DNA matches on AncestryDNA, MyHeritageDNA, FamilyTreeDNA and 23andMe.
6) Used Web Hints and Record Matches from Ancestry, MyHeritage, Findmypast and FamilySearch to add content and source citations to my RootsMagic profiles. I now have 70,863 persons in my RootsMagic file (up 24), and 145,866 source citations (up 6). I TreeShared 115 new or modified profiles with my Ancestry Member Tree, and I resolved 140 Ancestry Hints. My Ancestry Member Tree has Ancestry Record Hints with 176,879 to be resolved, but I work on them several times a week. I resolved no MyHeritage Record Matches but I work on them occasionally.
7) Wrote 15 Genea-Musings blog posts last week (Monday through Sunday), of which two were a press release. The most viewed post last week was Treasure Chest Sunday - H.A. Carringer's 1921 Automobile Registration over 170 views. Genea-Musings had about 16,700 views last week.
