Betty Carringer and a Beautiful Dog -- Post 783 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is now one of my favorite photographs:

This is my college girl mother, Betty Carringer (1919-2002) in about 1940 posing with a beautiful dog (a dachshund) that was the Carringer family dog in the 1930s and early 1940s.  I think the dog's name was "Snooky" but I may be wrong.

When I was growing up, we had cats but not dogs.  Living between two busy streets, the cats usually didn't survive very long.

I colorized this photograph using the MyHeritage photo tools.

This photograph is all part of our family history.
