Treasure Chest Thursday - 1707 Baptism Record of John Hill (1707-1759) in Fairfield, Connecticut Colony

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - an opportunity to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history research and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1707 baptism record of John Hill in Fairfield, Connecticut in the Connecitcut Church Record Abstracts:

The baptsim record is the 2nd entry for a John Hill:

The transcript of this record is:

"[HILL] John, s. John, bp. June 29, 1707"

The source citation for the baptism record is:

Fairfield, Connecticut Church Record, John Hill, baptized 29 June 1707, son of John; imaged,   "Connecticut, U.S., Church Record Abstracts 1630-1920," Ancestry.com (https://www.ancestry.com/discoveryui-content/view/395401:3032), Volume 033, Fairfield, page 56, image 59 of 161.  Original data from church records, compiled in the Connecticut. Church Records Index. held at Connecticut State Library, Hartford, Connecticut.

This is a Derivative Source record (because it is compiled from church records in an index) with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the baptism of John Hill on 29 June 1707 in Old Cemetery, Fairfield, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America, the son of John Hill.

John Hill (1707-1759) was born before 29 June 1707 when he was baptized in the Fairfield, Connecticut church, the son of John and Jane (--?--) Hill.  He died 17 December 1759 in Fairfield, Connecticut Colony.  John married Esther Bulkley (1713-1770) on 17 January 1729 in Fairfield, Connecticut Colony; she was the daughter of Joseph and Esther (Bulkley) Bulkley.  John and Esther (Bulkley) Hill had at least ten children.

John and Esther (Bulkley) are my 7th great-grandparents, through their daughter, Sarah Hill  (1742-1832) who married George Wakeman (1750-1815) in 1762.
