Here is this week's edition of "Seavers in the News" - a weekly feature from the historical newspapers about persons with the surname Seaver that are interesting, useful, mysterious, fun, macabre, or add information to my family tree database.
This week's entry is from the Leominster [Mass.] Daily Enterprise newspaper dated Tuesday, 28 November 1922, page 1, column 5:

"FRANK W. SEAVER
"Frank W. Seaver, aged 71, of 149 Lancaster street died last evening at the Leominster Hospital, to which he was taken at noon yesterday suffering from shock. He was a native of Westminster and leaves two sons, Frederick W. and Harry C. Seaver, a sister, Nellie M. Seaver, principal of the Bennett school. Mr. Seaver had for years been foreman at the factory of the Horn & Supply Co. where his work vwas efficient and his services highly valued. He was a man of sterling traits of character and a member of Tahanto Lodge, A.O.U.W.
"The funeral occurs Nov. 29, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the house, Rev. John D. Hull of St. Mark's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial in Evergreen cemetery."

Frank Walton Seaver (1852-1922) was born 5 June 1852 in Medfield, Massachusetts, the oldest child of Isaac and Lucretia (Smith) Seaver. He married Hattie L. Hildreth on 16 December 1874 in Keene, New Hampshire. They had three children:
- Frederick Walton Seaver (1876-1942), married Alma Bessie Richmond (1882-1962) in 1900.
- Harry Clifton Seaver (1885-1951), married Rose Anna Noel (1896-1948) in 1923.
- Howard Edward Seaver (1893-1900).
Frank Walton Seaver (1852-1922) is my great-grandfather, through my grandfather Frederick Walton Seaver (1876-1942).
