Charles Auble in San Diego In About 1915 -- (Not So) Wordless Wednesday #884

I found another priceless (to me) photograph in my computer file folders:

This is a photograph of my great-grandfather, Charles Auble (1849-1916) taken in about 1915 in San Diego (I don't know where...).  I think his wife, Georgianna (Kemp) Auble, my great-grandmother,  took the photograph.  You can see a shadow on the left side of the photograph.

I used the free AI tool OpenAI ChatGPT5 to sharpen, enhance and colorize this photograph.  Here is the result:

I think this turned out fairly well.  I don't know if the clothing color is right (the coat in the original black and white print is gray, so it is impossible to tell) - the coat could be green or brown or blue, but it's probably not black or red.  If I  had to guess, I'd say it was a light brown or tan coat. Perhaps ChatGP T5 can make it brown if I ask nicely!

This photograph is a part of my family history.  I don't have many photographs of Charles Auble - just this one and one from about 1900.
