It's Treasure Chest Thursday - an opportunity to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history research and genealogy musings.
The treasure today is the 1750 Marriage record of John Laver and Elizabeth Wills in the Lopen, Somerset Church of England parish records.
"[April] 16. Married John Laver & Elizabewth
Wills both of South Petherton.
Edward Whiting Curate."

John Laver (1722-1799) was baptized 30 October 1722 in South Petherton, Somerset, England, the son of John and Joanna (Axe) Laver. John married Elizabeth Wills (1730-1796) on 16 April 1750 in Lopen, Somerset. She was baptized 16 August 1730 in Merriott, Somerset, England.
John and Elizabeth (Wills) Laver are my 6th great-grandparents, through their daughter Joanna Lavor (1763-1836) who married John Vaux (1747-1806) in 1785 in South Petherton, Somerset, England.
