Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1725/6 Baptism of John Hill (1725-1769) in Warminster, Wiltshire

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - an opportunity to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history research and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1725/6 baptism record of John Hill in the Warminster, Wiltshire, Church of England parish baptism records.

The baptism record for John Hill is the fourth record for March 1725/26:

The transcription of this record is

"[1725] [March] 23. John Son of Thomas & Sarah Hill"

The source citation is:

John Hill (1725-1769) was baptized 23 March 1725/6 in Warminster St. Denys with St. Laurence Church of England parish church, the son of Thomas and Sarah (Adlam) Hill. He married Patience Ring (1723-1791) on 3 October 1743 in Hilperton, Wiltshire.  John Hill was buried 9 September 1769 in Hilperton, Wiltshire.

John and Pateince (Ring) Hill are my 5th great-grandparents, through their son John Hill (1765-1825) who married Ann Warren (1764-????) in 1788 in Hilperton, Wiltshire.
