Linda and Mia Dipping Their Toes In the Gulf of Bothnia in 1999 -- (Not So) Wordless Wednesday #938

 This is a priceless (to me) image in my computer file folders from the Seaver family collection:

This photograph was taken in August 1999 in northern Finland.  We visited the family of one of our 1994 Foreign Exchange students, Mia, in Tornio, Finland, and had a wonderful time with the  family.  Her parents, Kalle and Aila, and Mia, gave us the deluxe sightseeing tour (Rovaniemi, Oulu, Kuopio, Helsinki, Tallinn, etc.) over a week of fun.

The photograph shows Mia and Linda dipping their toes in the Gulf of Bothnia just south of Tornio.
