SDGS Seminar on 14 January 2017 Features Thomas MacEntee

The Annual Meeting of the San Diego Genealogical Society is Saturday, 14 January 2017 at the Captain's Quarters at Marina Village (1936 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

The featured speaker is Thomas MacEntee, the world famous genealogy author and social media/technology guru.  


Thomas will speak on four topics:

  • Session 1: Genealogy Do-Over: A Year of Learning from My Mistakes                
  • Session 2: Can I Use That in My Genealogy: What You Should Know about Copyright
  • Session 3: Facebook: A Tool for Genealogy Research 
  • Session 4: After You’re Gone: Future Proofing Your Genealogy Research

The cost is $45 before 1 December, and $50 after 1 December.  You can register online at www.casdgs.org or mail the registration form and payment to Joann Orendorff, 450 East Bradley #97, El Cajon CA 92021.  You have a choice of a box lunch with either a turkey sandwich or a salad with chicken, plus chips, a cookie, and a drink.
