I am posting photographs from my family collections for (Not So) Wordless Wednesday (you know me, I can't go wordless!).
Here is a photograph from the Geraldine Seaver Remley family collection handed down from my Aunt Gerry in 2007 after her passing.
This is a photograph of my paternal grandparents, Alma Bessie (Richmond) and Frederick Walton Seaver, taken in about 1930, probably in or near Leominster, Massachusetts, and perhaps at Whalom Lake near Leominster. Bess is about age 48 in this picture, and Fred is about age 54.
They are all dressed up - Bess has a hat, is holding gloves, and is wearing a corsage. Fred has a jaunty hat, a spiffy bow tie, his pipe, and wrinkled pants! The occasion may be the wedding of their daughter, Ruth Seaver, to Bowers A. Fischer on 14 June 1930.
