My Relationships to U.S. Presidents - Post 5: Presidents 16-21

I can't seem to stay away from Geni.com and their search capability to find relationships with living persons.  I spent more time today working backwards in time looking for my connections to the U.S. Presidents.  Previously, I did six of them in My Relationships to United States Presidents - Post 1: 39 to 44 (posted 2 October 2014), five more in My Relationships to U.S. Presidents - Post 2: Presidents 34-38 (posted 13 November 2014), six more in My Relationships to U.S. Presidents - Post 3: Presidents 28-33 (posted 16 January 2015), and six more in My Relationships to U.S. Presidents - Post 4: Presidents 22-27 (posted 16 March 0215).

Here are the next six going back in time:

1)  Chester A. Arthur (21st President of the United States) is my 5th cousin 4 times removed:

The common ancestors are Aquila Chase (1626-1670) and Ann Wheeler (1621-1687) of Newbury, Massachusetts.  I think that this relationship is probably correct.

2)  James A. Garfield (20th President of the United States) is my 5th cousin 4 times removed:

The common ancestors are Samuel Bigelow (1653-1732)  and Mary Flagg (1658-1720) of Watertown, Massachusetts.  I think that this relationship is probably correct.

3)  Rutherford B. Hayes (19th President of the United States) is my 7th cousin 3 times removed:

The common ancestors are Stephen Tracy (1596-1654) and Tryphosa Lee (1596-1654) of Plymouth, Massachusetts.  I think that this relationship is probably correct.

4)  Ulysses S. Grant (18th President of the United States is my 7th cousin 3 times removed:

The common ancestors are Stephen Tracy (1596-1654) and Tryphosa Lee (1596-1654) of Plymouth, Massachusetts.  I think that this relationship is probably correct.

5)  Andrew Johnson (17th President of the United States) is my 8th cousin 2 times removed:

The common ancestors are Thomas Lettice (11604-1681) and Anne ???? (1606-1687) of Plymouth, Massachusetts.  I think that this relationship is probably correct.

6)  Abraham Lincoln (16th President of the United States) in my 8th cousin 2 times removed:

The common ancestors are Obadiah Holmes (1610-1682) and Katherine Hyde (1608-1682) of Salem and Rehoboth, Massachusetts and Newport, Rhode Island.  I think that this relationship is probably correct.

 7)  I did not check the records for each relationship shown in the charts above.  I am confident that my lines back to the immigrant ancestors from England are correct, but I have no idea how accurate the lines are from the immigrants back to some of the common ancestors to the Presidents.  Some are well researched, and have entries in the book by Gary Boyd Roberts, Ancestors of American Presidents (1989).
