Learn,  Network, Be Inspired!

This year, Jamboree offers a full 14 session track directed at Researching German and Eastern European Roots.
Back by popular demand, Jamboree 2016 offers a six session track for Researching African-American Roots.

Check out the schedule by day on the website.
Volunteers Needed!

As you can imagine, Jamboree takes hundreds of volunteer hours. From room monitors to hospitality team members, from registration to set up and tear down, we have roles open for everyone. You don't need to be an SCGS member and you don't need to volunteer for long shifts.

The Volunteer Team will be sending an email out in the next few days to let you know how you can become a member of the best conference team in genealogy! If you'd rather, you can email them and let them know of your interest.

You'll be glad you did!

Research Assistance
Members of the Southern California Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists will provide one-on-one consultation to help you hurdle over your brick walls. Consultations are free for paid registrants of Jamboree.

Calling all genealogists! The sign up for research assistance volunteer consultants is now open.

NOTE: you need not be certified, accredited, be a member of APG, or any other specific organization to assist people - just a desire to help is all that is required.

The list for those requesting assistance will be open soon. Check the Jamboree blog for updates.
Exhibit Hall - The Tools You Need
The Exhibit Hall is Free to the Public!

Between sessions, at lunch and during the day, you can visit our exhibitors, commercial vendors, genealogical societies and heritage organizations, authors, and others. Schedule enough time to visit all the booths, and don't be shy. Strike up conversations with the booth staff. They have lots of information and are looking forward to sharing it with you
