The Fiji Cultural Center Visit in 2010 -- Post 422 for (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I'm posting old (and sometimes new) family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they won't be wordless posts like others do - I am incapable of having a wordless post.

Here are some of the most precious (to me) images from my Seaver/Leland photograph collection:

In March 2010, we visited Australia, New Zealand and Fiji on a three week Grand Circle Travel Tour to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and I took some photographs with my trusty digital camera.

Our last stop was the island nation of Fiji, where we stayed in a beautiful resort and took several day trips to the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, I did not label my photos in a Facebook album for our visit to Fiji.

Our bus tour stopped at a cultural center on the way:

1)  This was a fairly large area that contained a church and several meeting buildings.  Here is the outside of the church:

2)  Linda inside the church:

3)  The center director gave us a guided tour of the area:

4)  We had a display of handmade goods inside one of the buildings:

5)  They served a meal inside another building:

Unfortunately, I've lost the memories of all the details of this vacation - I know what we saw but can't remember what we were told.  I found that I posted very few photos from this vacation on Genea-Musings.

I think I'm done with this three week vacation.  I'll move on next week to more vacation photographs from another spot.
