4)  NOTES (with source citations as indicated in brackets):

Deborah Wight was born 1 December 1685 in Medfield, Massachusetts[1], the 8th child and 5th daughter of Ephraim and Lydia (Morse) Wight, who had nine children.

Deborah married Thomas Boyden on 29 April 1707 in Medfield[2].  He was the son of Jonathan and Mary (Clark) Boyden.  They moved to Wrentham at about the time they married.  They had for children, all born and recorded in Wrentham town records:

*  Mary Boyden (1708-1776), married 1733 Nathaniel Guild (1712-1796).
*  James Boyden (1709-1779), married 1741 Hannah Mills (1720-1785).
*  Deborah Boyden (1711-1770), married 1732 David Fisher (1705-1779.
*  Beriah Boyden (1714-????).

Her father, Ephraim Wight (1646-1723), wrote his will on 24 September 1717[3].  In the will, he bequeathed a single share of the remainder of his estate to the heirs of his daughter, Deborah.  After Ephraim died on 26 February, 1722/3, Deborah's husband, Thomas Boyden, and Deborah's sister, Lydia Partridge, requested the Probate Court on 9 March 1722/3 to void the will because their honoured father had been incapable of making a legal will for the past seven years.  The will was proved 1 April 1723 by the Suffolk County Probate Court.  There is no inventory or account in the probate case file.

There is no known date for Deborah (Wight) Boyden's death, and there is no known burial location.

It is possible that Deborah was deceased when her father wrote his will on 24 September 1717 giving a share to her heirs but not to her directly.  Her husband, Thomas Boyden, was one of the objectors to the will on 9 March 1722/3 without her signature or mark. Thomas Boyden married his second wife, Susanna Harris, on 24 May 1731.  Deborah probably died between 24 September 1717 and 9 March 1723.

NOTE:  In 2014, Amy Johnson Crow suggested a weekly blog theme of "52 Ancestors" in her blog post  52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks on the No Story Too Small blog.  I have extended this theme in 2020 for a seventh year to 364 Ancestors in 364 Weeks.  The list of 52 Ancestors biographies from my great-grandparents to the 7th great-grandparents (in work) is in   https://www.geneamusings.com/p/ancestor-biographies.html.
