Randy and Lori Reading in July 1974 in San Diego -- Post 678 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

47 years ago this month I was sitting in my bean bag "chair" the family room of our home on Otay Mesa reading something (not genealogy) with my two month old daughter, Lori, sleeping on my shoulder.  I think Linda took this photo without my knowing beforehand.  It must have been hot in the house because I have only shorts on and Lori has only a diaper on.  I loved my babies, and now I love their babies.  Every one has slept on my shoulder or in my arms at onep oint or another.

Randy, we grandparents have and enjoyed the snuggles of our children and grandchildren. What an amazing gift the Lord has given us in their lives. And yes, even as they have gone into adulthood, there is always a blessing in watching them interact with each other. I love my children and grandchildren always and forever!!
