Linda with Aila and Kalle in Arizona in 2003 -- Post 685 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

   I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:  

This photograph was taken in May 2003 in Williams, Arizona (I think) with our friends from Tornio, Finland. Kalle and Aila, the parents of Mia (one of our 1994 exchange students), visited the USA and stayed with us in Chula Vista for about a week as part of their USA cross-country tour.  

During the week with them, we took a car trip to visit Tami and her family in Victorville, then to Las Vegas to sightsee and enjoy the casinos, and to the Grand Canyon, and then back to Chula Vista.  

We took the train from Williams to the Grand Canyon on a day trip and had a good time.  They even had a bandit try to hold up the train passengers. Linda with her walker is between Aila and Kalle in the photo.
