Saturday Night Genealogy Fun -- A Baby or Small Child Photograph

 Calling all Genea-Musings Fans:
It's Saturday Night again -
Time for some more Genealogy Fun!!

Here is your assignment if you choose to play along (cue the Mission Impossible music):

1)  Do you have baby or small child photographs of yourself or your parents?  Please share one of them.

2)  Share it in your own blog post, in a comment to this blog post, or on Facebook.  Be sure to leave a comment with a link to your blog post on this post.

Here's mine:

I have had this photo montage on our hallway wall for 46 years and have never taken a photo of it.  This is not the earliest photo I have of me, but it's the earliest I have of "only me" in my collection - the earlier ones are of me being held by my mother and another by my father that I have shared in other SNGF posts.

This photograph has a date of October 14, 1944 on it, so it was taken when I was almost one year old.

I did not want to take it out of the frame and had to photograph it on the bedroom floor with the CamScanner app on my iPhone, edited it, and transferred it to my computer via email, and edited it again.

Here is another photograph of me taken in 1945 when I was two years old (colorized and enhanced with MyHeritage photo tools):

Happy Birthday, Randy! I love how your colorized photos look. Here's mine. My photos are still black & white, as I don't have a MyHeritage account.

Happy birthday, Randy! I had to make do with baby photos of two other people.

Here's my post: https://emptybranchesonthefamilytree.com/2021/10/saturday-night-genealogy-fun-164/

The roll of multi-similar photos must have been a California thing. I have several of those taken of my husband in the early 1950s in the L.A. area.

Happy (belated?) Birthday, Randy! All of these photos look great! I do have one professional photo that was taken when I was two years old and my parents put it on the social pages in our local newspaper at the time. My eldest sister's Godmother brought a fancy baby dress back from a trip to Chicago and my mother thought that would be a good reason to have a photographer come in and do pictures.

I need to start an official blog page for my genealogy. I do have one for family on Facebook but the members on there told me they prefer to keep the posts private rather than public, so I can't link it here unfortunately. For now I will have to email it to you.
