It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.
The treasure today is the death entries for David Bathrick (1722-1794) and Lydia (Maynard) Bathrick (1722-1802) in the Westborough, Massachusetts town record book:The transcription of this record is:
"David Bathrick Died August 4 1794"
"David Bathrick Died August 4 1794"
and
"Lydia Bathrick Died Feb 26 1802"
The source citation for the David Bathrick death record is:
Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988, indexed database and digital image, Ancestry.com (https://www.ancestry.com : accessed 25 November 2020), "Westborough > Births, Marriages, and Deaths," page 27 (image 267 of 1417), David Bathrick death entry, 4 August 1794.
This is probably a transcription of an original town record book for Westborough, Massachusetts, so it is a Derivative Source with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the death of David Bathrick and Lydia (Maynard) Bathrick.
David Bathrick (1722-1794) married Lydia Maynard (1722-1802) on 12 May 1742 in Westborough, Massachusetts Bay. They are my 5th great-grandparents, through their daughter Lydia Bathrick (1752-1795) who married Phinehas Brigham (1755-1802) in 1779.
