Wedgits on the Floor With Grandson Lucas in 2004 -- Post 710 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

Our first grandchild, Lucas, was 15 months old at Christmas time in 2004, and the family visited us in Chula Vista.  I finally had a chance to get down on the floor and build things with Lucas.  We had this great toy called Wedgits with a lot of shapes that could be nested or built into a tower.  Lucas quickly learned how to build a tower almost up to his neck.  With more parts we probably could have built it a lot higher.  Of course, then the most fun was knocking it down.  I played with this toy with every grandkid multiple times.  We still have it in the family room toy drawers.
