Robert Kirby (1674-1757) was the third child of Richard and Patience (Gifford) Kirby of Dartmouth. He married Rebecca Potter (1681-1773) in about 1700, probably in Dartmouth.
Robert and Rebecca (Potter) Kirby are my 7th great-grandparents. I am descended through their son Ichabod Kirby (1705-1793) of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, who married Rachel Allen (1708-1801) on 1 March 1732/3 in Dartmouth.
