Here Comes the Bride -- Post 762 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

"Here comes the bride, all dressed in white.  Sweetly, serenely in the soft glowing light.  Lovely to see, marching to thee, Sweet love united for eternity."

Linda and I were married on 21 March 1970 at Chula Vista [Calif.] Presbyterian Church in a traditional wedding.  This photograph shows Linda and her father, Lee Leland, just before they walk down the church's center aisle to the marriage ceremony.  The groom, of course, was at the front of the church awaiting the love of his life.  Linda smiled throughout the ceremony.  Her father is trying to avoid the taped-over cord at the start of the aisle, and hoping he doesn't trip.  They made it and the rest is history.

This is all part of our family history!

P.S. - this is probably a good candidate for upgrading the coloring and  sharpening using the MyHeritage photo tools.
