Paternal Grandmother Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver (1882-1962) in About 1960 -- Post 800 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

  I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs: 

This photograph is of my paternal grandmother, Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver (1882-1962), taken in about 1960, probably in Leominster, Massachusetts.  My father, Frederick Walton Seaver (1911-1983) was her son.

I met this grandmother only once - when she came, via car, from Massachusetts to San Diego to visit relatives in California in the summer of 1959.  She came with Walter and Evelyn (Seaver) Wood and their granddaughter, Diana Soule.  

I colorized a black and white photo using the MyHeritage tools.  I'm not sure that the colors are true.  Here is the black and white photo:

This photograph is all part of my family history.
