I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite and most priceless family photographs:
This photograph was taken in 1944. The little boy is me, Randall Jeffrey Seaver with my great-grandmother Georgianna (Kemp) Auble (1868-1952), the mother of my grandmother Emily Kemp (Auble) Carringer (1899-1977), and my mother's maternal grandmother. This photograph was taken in the Carrnger gardens at 2130 Fern Street in San Diego. I don't have many photographs of Georgianna. She was a very sweet and loving person and loved seeing her granddaughter grow up and marry, and then two grandsons were born while she was living. In the year that my father was away in the U.S. Navy, Georgianna and Emily took care of me while my mother and grandfather worked to support the family.
This photograph is a part of my family history. I had the black and white photograph in my 1940's photo album, and used the MyHeritage PhotoScanner mobile app to get it into a digital image, and then enhanced and colorized it using the MyHeritage photo tools.
