Randy's Cousins -- 6th Cousin 3x Removed Susan B. Anthony (1820-1906), the Famous Social Reformer and Women's Rights Activist

 This week's famous cousin is my 6th cousin 3x removed Susan Brownell Anthony (1820-1906), the famous social reformer and women's rights activist.

When Susan Brownell Anthony was born on 15 February 1820, in Adams, Berkshire, Massachusetts, United States, her father, Daniel Anthony, was 26 and her mother, Lucy Read, was 26. She lived in Battenville, Washington, New York, United States in 1826 and Gates, Monroe, New York, United States for about 10 years. She died on 13 March 1906, in Rochester, Monroe, New York, United States, at the age of 86, and was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, Monroe, New York, United States.

Susan B. Anthony (born Susan Anthony; February 15, 1820 – March 13, 1906) was an American social reformer and women's rights activist who played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement. Born into a Quaker family committed to social equality, she collected anti-slavery petitions at the age of 17. In 1856, she became the New York state agent for the American Anti-Slavery Society
