Daughters at Coronado Beach in 1982 -- (Not So) Wordless Wednesday #925

This is a priceless (to me) image in my computer file folders from the Seaver family collection:

This photograph was taken by me at Coronado Beach (probably north of the Hotel del Coronado and south of the Naval Air Station) in the summer of 1982. You can see the North Island jetty and the tip of Point Loma in the distance. This is right under the flight path for Navy airplanes landing at the air station.

The children in this photo are my two daughters, Lori at age 8, and Tami at age 5.  They loved playing in the sand, burying each other up to their neck, and making ornate sand castles with their father, plus jumping in the waves and, eventually, learning to bodysurf.

This event is part of my family history!!
