I received this information from Audrey Cavalier at Heredis today:
============================
Hello, fellow genealogists,
You might be thinking, “Great, a new version!” or, on the contrary, “Oh no! I’m not going to have to pay again when I already have a fairly recent version!”... But either way, here at Heredis, we’re truly delighted to kick off the new school year by introducing the next generation of our software, Heredis 2027. This time, Heredis is taking a new direction with the integration of AI features.
As a major release, it also includes highly anticipated new features such as image stitching.
What's New in Version 2027
Among the major new features in this version, Artificial Intelligence makes its debut in Heredis with the Reading Assistant.
It helps you transcribe and make use of both old and recent documents more easily, saving you time and allowing you to focus on what really matters: understanding, verifying, and telling the story of your ancestors.
Beyond transcription, this assistant can also translate documents if they’re in a foreign language. It identifies key information and automatically creates persons and events in your family tree.
But Heredis 2027 is obviously more than just AI: you can also run a comprehensive diagnostic check on your family tree! Heredis 2027 analyzes your file from three perspectives: technical health, data consistency, and genealogical anomalies.
And that’s not all! Image merging, improved GEDCOM import, enhanced performance thanks to 64-bit support, improvements to the “Family from My Village” book…
Feel free to check out the What’s New page, and if you’re up for it ๐, download the free demo version to try it all out.
๐ We’re offering 3 credits to use the AI-related features in the demo.
๐ And if you go on to purchase Heredis 2027, you’ll also get 3 additional credits for free!

=================================
Disclosure: I received no remuneration from Heredis for posting this news. In the past, I have received demonstration versions of this Heredis family tree software, but have not used it extensively. I have not used the demonstration software for Heredis 2027 yet.
I really like the idea of Artificial Intelligence features embedded in the family tree software as described above. That makes a lot of sense and may become an industry standard.
