This is an image of an Original Source record in the Cockfield Parish Register for St. Peter's Church with the baptism of Thomas Gleson, son of Thomas Glrson in Cockfield, Suffolk, England. It is Primary Information and Direct Evidence of Thomas Gleson's name, baptism date, and his father's name.
Thomas Gleson (1609-1686) was the son of Thomas and Anne (Armesby) Gleson of Cockfield, who married 28 October 1602 in Cockfield. The son Thomas Gleson married Susannah Page (1614-1691), the daughter of Thomas and Susanna (--?--) Page, on 31 July 1634 in Cockfield, Suffolk, England, and they had 10 children. Thomas and Susannah (Page) Gleson migrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony in the early 1640s, settling in Watertown.
Thomas and Susannah (Page) Gleson are my 9th great-grandparents, through their son Joseph Gleason (1640-1715) who married Martha Russell (1647-1684) in 1667.
