This week's Tuesday Tip is to look for online vital records using Joe Beine's websites that provide links to free, subscription and state office websites. Joe's sites include:
* http://www.genesearch.com/ - Joe's professional research site, with links to all of his web pages.
* http://www.deathindexes.com/ - A collection of links for each state relating to death records and obituaries, including some big city guides.
*** A list of the available Social Security Death Index sites is at http://www.deathindexes.com/ssdi.html.
*** Online obituary indexes, death notices and finding aids are at http://www.deathindexes.com/obituaries.html.
*** Online cemetery indexes and burial records are provided at http://www.deathindexes.com/cemeteries.html.
* http://www.germanroots.com/vitalrecords.html - A collection of links for each state relating to birth, marriage and divorce records.
The links on these sites often lead to commercial sites like Ancestry.com and the State vital records offices, or services that can obtain vital records from state vital records offices.

Randy,
Thanks for mentioning my websites :) Here's a correction. The last link you have (for birth, marriage and divorce records) should be: http://www.germanroots.com/vitalrecords.html
Happy searching!
thanks, Joe.
