Pre-Wedding Rehearsal Dinner -- Post 357 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I'm posting old family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they won't be wordless posts like others do - I simply am incapable of having a wordless post.

Here is one of the most precious (to me) images from my Seaver/Carringer/Leland family collection:

This photograph was taken on Friday, 20 March 1970 in the dining room at my Carringer grandparents home at 825 Harbor view Place in San Diego.  There are so many memories from that house!  The occasion was the pre-wedding rehearsal dinner honoring Linda and I before our wedding day on 21 March.  

The persons in the photograph at the buffet table are, from the left:

*  Lee S. Leland (1911-2002), Linda's father
*  Edna (Schaffner) Leland (1913-1979), Linda's mother
*  Frederick W. Seaver (1911-1983), my father
*  Linda J. Leland, my bride-to-be
*  Edna "Oo-hoo" (McKnew) Schaffner (1884-1974), Linda's maternal grandmother
*  Randall J. Seaver, yours truly.

My mother probably took this photograph.
