The workshop will be on “RootsMagic Genealogy Software,” led by Randy Seaver.
RootsMagic is currently in Version 7.0.6.0, and can be used to build a family tree to include names, dates, places, relationships, notes, sources, media, and more. RootsMagic can be used on both Windows and Mac computers. See www.rootsmagic.com for more information about the program. Please bring your laptop computer with RootsMagic installed if possible.
RootsMagic can also interact with the FamilySearch Family Tree to add content to the Family Tree from RootsMagic or to add content to RootsMagic from Family Tree. As of 31 July, users must have the latest version 7.0.6.0 in order to interact with the FamilySearch Family Tree.
