I'm posting old (and sometimes new) family photographs from my collection on Wednesdays, but they won't be wordless posts like others do - I simply am incapable of having a wordless post.
Here is one of the most precious (to me) images from my Seaver/Carringer family collection:
Guess where I am with these two pigeons (I forgot to get their names, probably "Coo" and "Plop") on my 65th birthday?
Yep, we celebrated my birthday by going to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City. What a view. It was a fairly clear day and I have lots of (useless?) photographs of buildings and rivers off in the distance. The one above is, I'm pretty sure, looking south towards the tip of Manhattan far off in the haze.
We were in New York City (my first time there) in October 2008 before embarking on The Master Genealogist cruise from New York to the eastern Caribbean and Puerto Rico aboard a cruise ship whose name I don't recall. It doesn't matter much, I guess. What does matter is the genealogy "staff" that taught us well - you may meet some of them in future Wordless Wednesday posts. Heh heh.
