The treasure today is the birth record of Thomas Dill (1708-1761) in Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts:
The birth record of Mary Dill and Thomas Dill (a twofer!) are on the right-hand page of the image above:
The transcription of these two records is:
Mary Dill daughter of Thomas Dill and
Mary his wife borne the 25 of October 1706
Thomas Dill Son of Thomas Dill and Mary
his wife borne the nintenth of December
1708
The source citation for this record is:
Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988, digital images, Ancestry.com (http://www.ancestry.com : accessed 27 December 2012), "Medford Town Records, 1657-1718," Volume 1, no page number (image 141 of 150), Thomas Dill birth entry.
Thomas Dill (1708-1761) was the son of Thomas Dill (1682-1718) and Mary Peirce (1682-1713), nd married Mehitable Brown (1714-1758) in 1733 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Thomas and Mehitable (Brown) Dill are my fifth great-grandparents.
The image above is fairly low resolution - I need to see if there is a higher resolution image on Ancestry.com or on FamilySearch.org.
