This year's keynote speaker will be genealogist Anne Gillespie Mitchell, better known to her Ancestry.com readers as "Ancestry Anne." Her keynote presentation will be "How Do I Know When I'm Right?" Check out her blog posts here.
The event will include a continental breakfast, an exhibit hall with local genealogical and historical society booths. Anne will also speak on "Finding & Researching Women" in a breakout session. Other breakout classes for beginning to advanced researchers include using newspapers in genealogy research, free genealogy websites, and resources in San Diego for building your family tree.
The cost for this event is $40 for SDGS and SDHC members, and $50 for non-members.
Genealogy Day is proudly sponsored by the San Diego Genealogical Society and the San Diego History Center.
