Blaine Bettinger Headlines SDGS Annual Meeting and Seminar - Saturday, 13 January 2018

The San Diego Genealogical Society (SDGS) Annual Meeting and Seminar will be held at Marina Village, Captain’s Room (1936 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109) on Saturday, 13 January 2018 starting at 9 a.m. PST.

The Guest Speaker is Blaine Bettinger, Ph.D., J.D.:

Blaine's four sessions are:

  • Session 1:  Introduction to DNA
  • Session 2:  Using Autosomal DNA for 18th & 19th Century Mysteries
  • Session 3:  Using Third-Party Tools to Analyze Your Autosomal DNA
  • Session 4:  Phasing and Mapping Your DNA

The program day includes coffee and tea with pastries in the morning, and a box lunch with a drink.  The schedule is:

  • Check-in time is 8 a.m.
  • Seminar is 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Lunch is 12 noon -12.30 p.m.

Registration is now open.  Early Bird Price for registering on or before December 16, 2017 is $45.  For registrations on or after December 17, 2017 the price is $50.   The last day to register is January 11, 2018
