This record is a  derivative source record for the birth of Renewed Smith.   The original record is in the North Kingstown town record books, which are on Family History Library US/CAN microfilms, available at the local FamilySearch Center.  

Renewed Smith (1717-1766) was the daughter of Ephraim and Margaret (Pearce) Smith of North Kingstown, R.I.  She married 1733 in North Kingstown to Daniel Carpenter (1712-1784), the son of Solomon and Elizabeth (Tefft) Carpenter of South Kingstown, R.I.  

Daniel and Renewed (Smith) Carpenter are my  6th great-grandparents, through their daughter  Elizabeth Carpenter (1741-????) who married  Stephen Hazard (1730-1804)  in 1760.
