Dozens of genealogy and family history bloggers write thousands of posts every week about their research, their families, and their interests. I appreciate each one of them and their efforts.
My criteria for "Best of ..." are pretty simple - I pick posts that advance knowledge about genealogy and family history, address current genealogy issues, provide personal family history, are funny or are poignant. I don't list posts destined for daily blog prompts or meme submissions (but I do include summaries of them), or my own posts.
Here are my picks for great reads from the genealogy blogs for this past week:
* Use Social History in Genealogy Research – Telling Your Ancestors’ Stories by Lisa Lisson on Are You My Cousin?
* Genetic Affairs Reconstructs Trees from Genetic Clusters – Even Without Your Tree or Common Ancestors by Roberta Estes on DNAeXplained - Genetic Genealogy.
* Are Your DNA Matches Failing You? by Diahan Southard on Your DNA Guide.
* Scanning vs Photographing Genealogy Documents by Devon Noel Lee on Family History Fanatics.
* Inflection Point: Pause that Refreshes or End of a Fad? by Jacqi Stevens on A Family Tapestry.
* 5 Tips For Gathering Family Stories by Amy Johnson Crow on Amy Johnson Crow.
* The Top Ten Genealogical Opportunities of 2019 by James Tanner on Genealogy's Star.
* This is how I'm Preserving Holiday Memories One Year at a Time by Denise Levenick on The Family Curator.
* How Newspaper Articles Helped Solve the Mysteries of Howard Sigmund’s Sons-in-Law by Amy on Brotman Blog: A Family Journey.
* Can Ethnicity Help With Unknown Parentage? by Kitty Cooper on Kitty Cooper's Blog.
* How to Search PERSI With State Postal Codes by Nicole Dyer on Family Locket.
Here are pick posts by other geneabloggers this week:

Did I miss a great genealogy blog post? Tell me! I currently am reading posts from over 900 genealogy bloggers using Feedly, but I still miss quite a few it seems.
