Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1702 Birth Record for John Baverick in Cambridge, Massachusetts

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1702 Birth entry for John Baverick  in the Cambridge, Massachusetts vital records book:

The birth entry is the 3rd entry from the Baverick listings:

The transcription of this record is:

"BAVERICK, John, s. of Thomas and Elizabeth, May 12, 1702"

The source citation for this record is:

Thomas W. Baldwin (compiler), Vital Records of Cambridge, Massachusetts to the Year 1850 (Boston, Mass. : New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1915), Births, page 50, John Baverick entry, son of Thomas and Elizabeth, 12 May 1702.

This is an entry in a published Cambridge, Massachusetts vital record book.  It is a Derivative Source with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the birth of Thomas Bathrick on 12 May 1702 and his parents first names.

John Bathrick [also Baverick and Batherick] (1702-1769) was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Lynn) (Beeger) Bathrick of Cambridge.  John Bathrick (1702-1769) married (1) Mary --?-- before 1722, who are my 6th great-grandparents, through their son David Bathrick (1722-1794).
