Treasure Chest Thursday -- 1697 Birth Record of Mary Morse (1697-????) in Marlborough, Massachusetts

It's Treasure Chest Thursday - a chance to look in my digital image files to see what treasures I can find for my family history and genealogy musings.

The treasure today is the 1697 Birth entry for Mary Morse  in the Marlborough, Massachusetts vital records book:

The birth entry is the 10th entry from the Mors listings:

The transcription of this record is:

[MORS] Mary, d. Joseph and Grace, Oct. 13, 1697."

The source citation for this record is:

Franklin P. Rice (editor), Vital Records of Marlborough, Massachusetts, to the End of the Year 1849 (Boston, Mass. : Franklin P. Rice ,1908), page 123, Mary Mors birth entry, 13 October 1697, daughter of Joseph and Grace Morse.

This is an entry in a published Marlborough, Massachusetts vital record book.  It is a Derivative Source with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the birth of Mary Mors on 13 October 1697 and his parents first names.

Mary Morse (1697-????) was the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Warren) Morse of Marlborough. James Mainord married 6 January 1718/9 to Mary Morse (1697-????) in Marlborough.  They are  my 6th great-grandparents, through their daughter Lydia Maynard (1722-1802).
