Grandhound Walter in 2006 -- Post 731 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

This our first grandhound - Walter, a basset hound living with daughter Tami and her family.  Walter loved belly rubs, all food, walking and sniffing around the neighborhood, cat poop, wagging his tail, and playing with other dogs.  He could be prompted to sing "ah-roo" too.    We all loved Walter and delighted in his antics.  We had great fun walking him in Long Beach on the main street - Walter was a chick magnet.  Because Tami is Tami, she was editor the local Basset Hound periodical, telling funny stories about Walter's adventures.

This is all part of our family history!

Great to see a dog figuring in someone's family history. They're such a big part of my life, and definitely family members. Many if my kids favourite memories of their childhoods involve one of our dogs.
