The treasure today is the 1689 birth record of Mary Tripp in Dartmouth, Massachusetts:

This record is a Derivative Source, with Primary Information and Direct Evidence of the birth of Mary Tripp. The Original source is probably a Dartmouth town record book that is not now extant.
Mary Tripp (1689-a1739) was born 22 August 1689 in Dartmouth, the daughter of Joseph and Mehitable (Fish) Tripp. She married Thomas Wate (1683-a1743) on 25 January 1710/11 in Dartmouth. He was born 22 April 1683, probably in Dartmouth, the son of Ruben and Tabitha (Launders) Wate.
Thomas and Mary (Tripp) Wate are my 7th great-grandparents. I am descended through their daughter Meribah Waite (1720-1803), who married Benjamin Soule (1719-1803) in 1742.
