Here are the highlights of my family history and genealogy related activities over the past week. I skipped this post last week because I was sick - came down with COVID-19 on 4 December.
1) Hosted the Chula Vista Genealogical Society Board meeting on Wednesday. Our in-person Holiday Party is this coming Wednesday at Bonita Museum.
2) Watched the Family Tree Webinar "Creating a DNA plan for Geoff’s brick wall" by Geoff Rasmussen and Diahan Southard. Learned some new tricks.
3) Transcribed a probate record for Amanuensis Monday -- 1826 Inventory of Intestate Estate of Rosilla Seaver (1806-1825) of Westminster, Massachusetts.
4) AncestryDNA now has 41,410 DNA matches (up 79 from 28 November) for me today, with two new ThruLines. Added Notes to 2 of them, and added one line to RootsMagic. MyHeritageDNA now has 10,895 DNA matches (up 26 from 28 November) for me, with no new Theories. Reviewed the new DNA matches on AncestryDNA, MyHeritageDNA, FamilyTreeDNA and 23andMe.
6) Used Web Hints and Record Matches from Ancestry, MyHeritage, Findmypast and FamilySearch to add content and source citations to my RootsMagic profiles. I now have 70,139 persons in my RootsMagic file (up 32 since 28 November), and 145,452 source citations (up 2). I TreeShared 65 new or modified profiles with my Ancestry Member Tree, and I resolved 453 Ancestry Hints. My Ancestry Member Tree has Ancestry Record Hints with 176,478 to be resolved, but I work on them several times a week. My MyHeritage family trees have 162,523 Record Matches in 286 sources and I work on them occasionally.
7) Wrote 6 Genea-Musings blog posts last week (Sunday through Saturday), of which one was a press release. The most viewed post last week was COVID-19 Has Infected Genea-Musings with over 308 views. Genea-Musings had about 13,800 views last week.

Oh my, Randy, what a week you had! Hopefully, you came through that Covid experience with no lasting effects. Glad to hear you are on the mend.
