Elizabeth Remington (1686-c1747) was born  in about 1686 in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, the daughter of John and Abigail (Richmond) Remington[2].

She married in July 1704 to John Kenyon (1682-1735), the son of John and --?-- (--?--) Kenyon[1-2].   They had ten children, most of whom are recorded in the South Kingstown town records:

*  John Kenyon (1706-1747), married 1726 Mary Gardiner (1707-????).
*  Thomas Kenyon (1708-1778), married 1733 Catherine Ney (1712-????).
*  Sylvester Kenyon (1710-1800), married 1740 Anna Barber (1717-a1800).
*  George Kenyon (1712-1796), married 1741 Anna Lewis (1716-1805).
*  Sarah Kenyon (1715-1803), married 1730 Ebenezer Niles (1710-1747).

*  Abigail Kenyon (1724-1746).
*  Benedict Kenyon (a1727-1807), married 1760 Amie Barber (1742-1803).

The John and Elizabeth (Remington) Kenyon family moved from South Kingstown to Westerly, Rhode Island in the 1720s[2].

John Kenyon died before 24 February 1724/5, when their daughter married, and her father was mentioned as "John, deceased"[2].

After her husband died, Elizabeth probably resided with one or more of her children.  She died before 5 October 1747 when an inventory for Elizabeth Kenyon was filed in the Richmond, Rhode Island probate papers.  Her son, Thomas Kenyon, was administrator of her estate[3].
