Betty Carringer and a Beautiful Automobile -- Post 782 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is now one of my favorite photographs:

This is my college girl mother, Betty Carringer (1919-2002) in about 1940 posing with a beautiful automobile (I don't know what type of car that is - perhaps a Hudson Super 6 according to a reverse Google search).

This car may be my grandparents (Lyle and Emily (Auble) Carringer) - they had Hudson cars in the 1940s and 1950s as I recall.  Or it may be a boyfriend's car.

My mother never drove a car because she was in a car crash when she was a teenager - her boyfriend crashed the car.

I colorized this photograph using the MyHeritage photo tools.

This photograph is all part of our family history.
