Betty at Christmas Time (1922?) -- Post 806 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday

I can't help it, I can't do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs:

This is a photograph of my mother, Betty Virginia Carringer (1919-2002) at Christmas time in the Carringer home at 2130 Fern Street in San Diego, California.  It was probably 1922 when she was three years old, but it could be 1923 or 1924.  As the only child, she was spoiled by her parents and grandparents - there's a doll in a doll carriage, a doll on a chair, another doll and several other wrapped boxes on the floor and around the tree.  I wondered if they had a fireplace - I found a 1922 photograph of the house and they did!

I colorized a black and white photo using the MyHeritage tools.  Unfortunately, the original black and white photo was very dark and somewhat blurred.

This photograph is part of my family history.
