James William Seaver (1891-1980) is not a Seaver cousin of mine. His Seaver line descends from Henry and Elizabeth (--?--) Seaver of Scott County, Virginia. Henry emigrated from Germany.
There are over 10,000 Seaver "stories" in my family tree - and this is one of them. Life happens, accidentally and intentionally, and sometimes a person's obituary provides information about the person's family, occupation, and associations. I am glad that I can honor James William Seaver today.
You never know when a descendant or relative will find this blog post and learn something about their ancestors or relatives, or will provide more information about them to me.
