The RootsTech 2025 Conference starts on Thursday, 6 March and goes through Saturday, 8 March. There are over 250 classes in-person (registration fee) at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, and 187 FREE to watch classes for Online viewers who have registered - (https://www.familysearch.org/en/rootstech/ - use your FamilySearch credentials).
A user can download the syllabus information for many (not all!) of the classes, whether in-person or online) by using this simple method:
1) Go online to the RootsTech website (https://www.familysearch.org/en/rootstech/) and login using your FamilySearch credentials. Then select the "Create the Class Schedule" link (https://www.familysearch.org/en/rootstech/schedule?day=2025-03-05) and you should see the top of the schedule page:
You can select Session Type (Online or In-Person) and the day of the week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday). That opens a list of times and classes at each time during the specified day.
Here is the part of the list for Thursday morning:
I want to find the syllabus (if there is one) for the second class on that screen - the DNA class by Diahan Southard at 8:30 a.m. PST.
2) By clicking on the TITLE of the class (i.e., in this case the "How Does DNA Fit Into Your Family Story? Identity. Connection. Answers") the class information opens:
If there is a Syllabus for the specific class, there will be a "Download" button below the speaker's photograph and class summary. That opens the PDF file for the syllabus. The user can then use the "Download" arrow to save the PDF file to their computer.
3) You will have to go through both the Online and In-Person class schedules for every day and every time to find the syllabus articles. There is a lot of clicking!
When you are in the class list, right-clicking is your friend - it will open the specific class for the download, and then after you have downloaded the file you can close that tab out and go back to the open tab with the class list.
4) I have downloaded about 60 articles now to my Downloads folder. I have one more day's worth of finding syllabus articles I want to download to go. I will put them all into a "RootsTech 2025" file folder in my "Conferences" file folder.
5) The downloads will be available throughout the conference and perhaps for many months afterward. It may depend on the speaker contract with RootsTech. So get them now before they disappear.
NOTE: You can see the current list of RootsTech 2025 online and in-person speakers and presentation titles in https://www.familysearch.org/en/rootstech/schedule/preview.
Disclosure: I am a RootsTech 2025 "Influencer" but will receive no remuneration for my support or posting of RootsTech information. I will be an online participant this year because of my health issues.

Thanks, Randy, I always download handouts so I can follow along during a talk...and I keep them for future reference.
I managed to download some before the system over-loaded...I really wish, however, they'd make the UI more user-friendly. More text, fewer pictures - a basic list would be so much easier to navigate.
