This week's document for transcription is the 1793 Quitclaim Deed of David and Martha Kirby giving land in Bristol County, Massachusetts to John Kirby in Westport, Bristol County, Massachusetts.

Know all Men by these presents, that I David Kirby
of Westport in ye County of Bristol in ye Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bay
Yeoman, I do acquit all ye right & Title & Claim that I have, I myself my heirs
& assigns forever, to a certain peice of salt meadow Sedge flat, that was my
fathers Ichabod Kirby late of Westport Dec'd lying in ye Eastermost Branch
of Coaxet River so called, & known by name Lonnon flat, Bounded as followeth
Southerly on Wesson Kirbys, & partly on ye Creek, Westerly on meadow belonging
to Robert Brownells heirs, & Northerly on Preserved Tripps, Easterly on Stephen
Cornells, the above described Sedge flat I give up all ye right Title, that I my-
self my heirs & assigns have, unto my Brother John Kirby of Westport in ye
State aforesd to him ye sd John Kirby & to his heirs & assigns forever, to have &

By this record it appears that David and Martha Kirby quitclaimed a parcel of salt meadow sedge flat, known as Lonnon flat, that was his father Ichabod Kirby's to his brother John Kirby. The parcel was bounded by lands of Wesson Kirbvy, Robert Brownell's heirs, Preserved Tripp and Stephen Cornell.
David Kirby (1740-1832) married Martha Sowle (1743-1828) in 1763 and they had two children. They are my 5th great-grandparents through their daughter Sibel Kirby (1764-1848) who married Humphrey Wite (1757-1814) in 1786.
