Win a DNA Journey Contest With Momondo

I watched a very interesting and poignant video at the Ancestry.com exhibit at the SCGS Genealogy Jamboree over the weekend, and Alona Tester blogged about it today in her post Win Your DNA Journey With Momondo on the Genealogy & History News blog.

The Momondo website, which is a travel site, is sponsoring a "Win Your DNA Journey" contest along with AncestryDNA and 23andMe on their website - see  http://www.momondo.com.au/letsopenourworld/dna:

The site says:

"JUST TWO STEPS COULD TAKE YOU AROUND THE WORLD

"1. WIN A DNA KIT AND FIND OUT HOW DIVERSE YOU ARE

"All you have to do is tell us why you should win a DNA kit (a simple saliva test), by August 16th 2016. If you win a DNA kit, you can take the next step towards winning the journey of your life.

"2. WIN A JOURNEY OF YOUR LIFE

When you get your DNA results, shoot a short video of how you react to seeing where you're from for the very first time – who knows what emotions you'll capture! Your video is your ticket to winning a journey of your life: a trip to every country you're from, or a trip to your favourite country found in your DNA."

The video I saw is on the site, and it's also on YouTube.  I have embedded it below also:

The video description says:

"It’s easy to think there are more things dividing us than uniting us. But we actually have much more in common with other nationalities than you’d think. If you dare to question who you really are, head to http://momon.do/Lets.Open.Our.World to WIN your own DNA journey: a DNA kit and the chance to visit every single country you're from!"

Many of the commenters on the YouTube site think that this was staged by actors.  Do you?

Hat tip to Alona Tester for the catch.
