I have missed Leland Meitzler's daily postings about genealogy news, web sites and societies over the past month.
He wrote a post today that it is back online. They had quite a time getting the hosting company to give them control of the web site back.
I am glad that Leland and Joe Edmon are OK (I was concerned, although I'd read Dick Eastman's post from the FGS Conference) and are back online. Will there be a blogalanche of posts on the EPGB?

Does anyone know if Everton is going out of business. I've called the 800 number four times and the local number three times, over the past two weeks. No one EVER answers the phone, and no return calls.

I called the 800# and got a message that the voice mail box was full and to dial *0, which I did. The young woman who answered is with a company that used to share the building w/Everton. She said they went out of business in March 09. Does anyone know if the Genealogical Helper will continue to be published? I was hoping to put an ad in it for my Genealogy Record Searching Business in SE & Central Ohio.

What do you mean "out of business???" I just gave them my credit card number two weeks ago for two Handybooks and I have yet to hear a word from them. I, too, have called and called, can't leave a voicemail because the "box is full", no response to e-mail or fax. My next call is to the Utah Attorney General!
