Tombstone Tuesday - David Auble (1817-1894) in Terre Haute, Indiana

David Auble was born in 1817 in Sussex County, New Jersey, the son of Johannes and Anna (Row) Auble. He married Sarah Knapp in Newton, Sussex County, New Jersey. David died 22 March 1894 in Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana. His tombstone is in Woodlawn Cemetery in Terre Haute.

I had hoped to find a grave stone for Sarah (Knapp) Auble also, but she is not listed on Find-A-Grave, Interment.net, or any other cemetery site. I don't know when Sarah died - it was after 1900 when she is enumerated with two unmarried daughters in Harrison, Vigo County, Indiana. She may be buried in McDonough County, Illinois where another daughter resided with her Buntin family.
